Internet slow down!
I don't know if anyone noticed (I did) that the Internet was really slow and I couldn't get to a lot of sites (like Gamespyarcade.com).

Thats crazy stuff....its to bad the guys who make these viruses use their knowledge to screw up the internet instead of helping out. These guys are obviously intelligent, but then again they cant be to smart if they like going to jail and sleepin with Bubba!

It hit our network this morning around 8:30am and got really bad at 11:30am. We had to remove all of our NT boxes off of our network to get out LAN back up.
It is the WORM virus and attacks a known loop hole in Microsofts SQL server software. It sends out multiple messages producing severe congestion on any network that has SQL on it.
We had 0 visabilty for about 4 hours to our national network while our IT and LAN/WAN guys worked desperately to figure out what to do about it. We restored at 3pm est.
Today sucks
