ati and magna dynos and slips

thanks for setting me straight. You are right, I was looking back and forth at the chart. I did see overtaxed's dyno post but I couldn't make sense of it so I didn't attempt to copy the numbers down and you mentioned the same thing I did -- that is we don't know if they are SAE or not.
Can someone PLEASE post a dyno for a 5.4 magna that is SAE corrected? Maybe even with a 7lb pully?
As I mentioned in a later post, I spend a lot more time <3000 than above it. The Magnacharger might be more fun hopping around town in traffic... The ATI certainly seems to be the way to go for the track.
I am definitely going to put an sc on my truck asap but after careful thought and paying attention to the RPMs I am running, I might have crash put a magna on instead, even if it does net 30 or so less horses over 4K rpms...
I am after the thrill factor and I pretty much drive around town with a lead foot from stop to stop. I rarely get past 80 or 85...

Also keep in mind that even blowers of the same basic type and displacement will not flow the same. The Eaton vs Autorotor showed the Eaton had a lower rpm advantage, and the Autorotor a higher rpms advantage when running at the same boost level. Both are considered 1.5 liter blowers.
Not saying that centrifugals don't have their place.. they obviously do.... but... a roots or positive displacement blower with a more efficient design could give them a run for the money as well. Similar to the often mentioned roots vs centrifugal debate such a blower would probably not have quite the low end grunt as the Eaton does.
