Whipple Smooth Idler Pullies...BEWARE

Dropped my truck off today in anticipation yesterday I went through everything. The two smooth idler pullies weren't in the best of shape so I decided to just order two new ones from Whipple. HOLY CRAP!!! They are $150 APIECE!!!

What a rip...but I am stuck. GRRRR

Unless the pulley is damaged on the surface you only need the bearings. They are Nachi 6203 2RS. They are less then $2.00

The whole thing was rusted. Not sure the bearing would press out...but maybe I will tell the shop to try! Thanks for the info!!!!

Quick to polish those pulleys up is with needle nose pliers and scotch pads. Start the truck and let it idle. See pic below
