Trick or Treat 5 Liter IC Tank

It's a treat. Been wanting to do this for a while. Finally got off my butt and designed a tank. Had a local fab shop build it. 1/8 alum with an Earls Plumbing 3" cap. Will be easy to add ice and lots of room for it too. The stock tank holds 2 liters. This one will hold 5 liters. It's also out of the way and in a cooler location. Will post final pics this weekend. Happy Halloween to all!

Have to do some filing on the weld to get the cap to sit even.

It may help a little now though my temps rise very little. However this will clean up the engine bay and make for great cooling when I go built with more boost.

Really cool Bro! What is that little air filter to the left of the supercharger? What purpose does it serve?

Yes it is a crankcase vent. This one features a check ball to prevent any lean issues.

Thanks Ross! I really want to go built and make some real power. That or a Coyote swap.

Love my 3V but the Coyotes laying down 700+rwhp on 14psi, 17 degrees of timing, and 11.76af is killer. Seen that with Kenne Bell and a twin turbo setup. Built they are easily exceeding 1000rwhp.

Yeah I have already wrote a '3v cheque' that I still need to cash.

Coyote swap sounds like a blast but allot more work IMO not to mention the extra coin.

All you need is a built short block and some head work.

3v good for them numbers no worries. The newer body trucks run quick because of the 6 speed. Now that would be a good swap.

IIRC RAFA's 3v made 540RWHP @ 11psi and there was more in the table at that boost. Keep the faith.
