Hey Twin hows the new 8 rib setup and rebuilt supercharger holding up? I've read a lot of bad things about Jon Bond Performance so I'm interested to see how the blower is holding so far. Im sure its running stronger than ever. Also how you liking the 8 rib setup, you pushing that 1/2 of boost you were
looking for?

It's doing great. Jon was fantastic to work with. He has a great reputation. There is one punk who has posted his beat up Kenne Bell supercharger that could not be repaired in multiple forums. I asked Jon specifically about it as it was the only bad feed I could find on him. Kid sent him a junk blower that could not be repaired due to the extent of the internal damages. He mailed it back and a few days later the kid was on his facebook page and everywhere else claiming Jon trashed his blower. Just an a-hole trying to get a freebie is my opinion.

The 8 rib set up is working great. Here are some threads with folks who have worked through Jon Bond. I was much more impressed with him then I was with Stiegmeier a few years ago.

Yea I saw that thread, the internet is so hit or miss about certain things. Im looking into picking up a whipple hopefully next weekend, it needs a rebuild the guy said it spins freely so I was contemplating sending the headunit to Jon Bond and whether or not I want to buy the supercharger. Anything I should look for in specific?

If it spins freely thats a good sign. Look for any signs of the screws making contact with each other or the housing. This of course shouldn't happen but it can if bearing wear is severe allowing the screws to walk. This can result in a very costly rebuild or the possibility of not being able to rebuild.

If it's a standard rebuild, bearings, seals, etc then you're looking to spend around $650 plus shipping. So figure on spending around $750 in all. If you need a manual or anything pm me your email. I know the kit by heart so when you go to look at it feel free to contact me. I can shoot you my number.
