Agreed. I suspect the Eaton charged trucks would benefit from a good blower cam on the stock engine. Would bring boost down while increasing airflow. Wouldn't need to spin the Eaton as hard for power and the cams would help pick up the slack above 4000rpm where the Eaton starts dropping off.
Comp 127150 850-6200 rpm. Lift .48in .47ex duration 253in 274ex requires springs
Comp 127205 750-6400 rpm. Lift .45in .45ex duration 281in 262ex stock springs ok but i would upgrade regardless.
Or my favorite for this application would be the
Comp 127350 650-6400rpm. Lift .49in .45ex duration 261in 282ex springs required.

Hope you don't mind me going off topic Thomas.

Na its an interesting topic that actually has to do with 3v positive displacement blowers. Still on topic in my book

Can the belt go on either side or is this fixed?

Also, is the crank pulley an 8 rib, it appears to have more width than the stock one, but hard to tell from the pictures.

The Metco is an 8 rib pulley yes. And no the belt has to ride on the bottom side due to it's length. It's not a big deal. In fact I ran mine for two years with no idler pulley between the power steering and water pump with no issue at all.

So it is best to start at the crank (although more effort) and move up in the reduced-belt-slip gain-psi strategy. Rather then, just add a smaller pulley to the SC nose. This is just my way of thinking in a future changes sort of way.

I think this should be in the technical article section.

I ran a 3" upper and had belt slip. This setup fixes belt slip. I now run a Thump RRR tensioner which is also 8 rib. While I agree a dedicated blower belt is ideal I think a strong tensioner and 8 rib maybe even 6 will still be fine for 15-20psi without issues.
