Went To The Track Today

Had a great day. Weather was perfect and the truck ran strong. Pulled off a 12.46 @ 108.98 mph with a 1.72 60'. Air charge peaked at 116F at the traps. Was 108F at the start. All in all not bad for a Scab with 89,300 miles, stock motor with a Whipple pushing 11-12psi. I'm beyond thrilled with the results. Only changes since previous 12.7 @ 106 mph 1.73 60' run is a Jabsco intercooler pump, 90mm Ford Motorsport throttle body, 4" intake, and a GT500 hood vent.

No video. Couldn't get anyone to go with me. There was a guy there who said he got my 12.6 run and would email it to me. We shall see. I wish I had one of the 12.4 run. Drag radials are M&H Racemaster 325/45/17

that is a great time, i would have to think weather was perfect, cool but not to cold.

nice mph, goes good with the time, you are getting close to optimal for your set-up.

Thanks everyone. Yes Brotherdave conditions were perfect. I'll post up details later today. I brought along my hygrometer to keep track of conditions and used NOAA for barometric pressure. Also I have left the truck as it was yesterday in order to weigh it and see what my race weight is.

I wish they made a more street size drag radial for our trucks.

Oh yeah!!!

Lifting the bar again. Defo the top stock block numbers on any of these forums.

Must have ignited the built itch again?
