No the blower is not installed. I just did the gotts mod until I do get a blower. I ordered obx headers yesterday. I am going with the hot rod cams, and I am good friends with the tuner and he has installed frpp cams with blowers before and made good power. I will be saving up to get the cams next (probably order them in a month), and by the end of summer I might have enough for a blower.

Me personally, I am going to one day get the FRPP hotrod cams. They are for N/A setups but guys with blowers (mainly mustangs) still pick up 25-30RWHP up to 5200RPM. They make erven more power then that up to 7000RPM but our trucks will never see that. Also across the torque band no torque loss over stock cams. They sound mean as hell too. Unless you go built, in that case I would get custom grind cams

I dont have a link to all the dyno sheets but typical tuned gain was 20-30rwhp at 5200rpm (more at 7000rpm) with torque same as stock cams below peak torque. Sounds awesome too. Lots of blower guys use them even though they are not blower cams. Again if you go built race purpose engine I would go a blower cam with a grind made for the motor. If you just want lope and a little power those are hard to beat.

I started taking the stock y pipe and manifolds off Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon. Today I got the headers and am finishing taking off the manifolds (quite a tough task). I will hopefully have it back together by next weekend and be able to get it tuned (that's the goal anyways).

Didn't work on the truck today since its Sunday and mothers day. I really hope the gains and sound from these headers are worth the time and money, because they are a pain to install.

I felt no difference going to long tube headers. True got a lot louder though. These trucks are to fat for accurate butt dynos

I got the drivers side manifold and the remainer of the y pipe off today. I also got the passenger header installed. Crash!, I will probably order the cams in a month or so and hopefully have enough for a blower by the end of the summer. Do u guys think it will get that much louder even running the same si/do catbacks? Are those gain numbers before or after a custom tune? (Hopefully get my free tune Friday)

Wow, the cam swap looks fairly simple. Too bad the head has to come off for valve spring upgrade

I ran into a few problems. I need to remove a few studs to get the drivers side header on. How can I get them loose? Used pb blaster, 5mm socket, and locking 2 nuts together on stud. I don't have access to a torch will running the engine up to operating temp help? Also dipstick broke off nearly flush with the block. Ordered a new 1. How can I get the old 1 out?
