I may be wrong but I don't think you can get away with an EGR delete in California.
It's not a good mod to do anyway, it will hurt your gas mileage!

problemssssssssssss!!!!!!!

problems keeps ocurring after 2 month to get stuff right keeps getting worst after worst and even worse do not know if its the trans tune ecm engine completely lost and tire of putting money into this piece of crap ant still no good positive result i think this conversion was not the way to go for me!!!!

old trans was burnt, rebuilt and tested after got out of the shop didnt give me a problem shift ok and after a 30 minute drive in the freeway od light kept flashing rpm's went high then down pulled over turned truck off back on no problems. ones i got to my city in traffic lights again 3rd gear was slipping but it will go throw like if something like air was preventing it from doin so cause everytime it wants to nuetralize like that i would let go the gas pedal slowly and the gear would jump right in. all other gears were throwned perfectly tuned by jj and all transmission parameters were put back to stock to see if that fixed anything got home i accelerated a little when i stopped truck started shaking black smoke came out and died on me. turned it back on and a "WEIRD NOISE" in the motor is scared the crap out of me i thought it was the idle control valve replaced it and the noise was even stronger so i took it of put mine back and still noise was their but at times it does not do the noise goes away comes back like if the air inside was hitting something or plugged dont know im going to post a video of that noise for any thoughts video is not clearly, noise is and also noise changes because i went from park,reverse,nuetral,D,2,1, and then from 1st all the way to park to see what i could of caught and maybe fix but no results.


do not know what to do this is driving me nuts i rebuilt trans which it still needed to do cus my was burnt but did not fix anything some tell me it can also be the vss sensor i have no idea!!!!



if i dont get this problem fixed ASAP bye bye to supercharger and welcome back regular stock 5.4 i actually miss driving it with no problem when i didnt have anything on it!!!!!!!

Sounds like it could be a vacuum leak.
And I think you bought a POS tranny. ):

if it is a vuccum leak how to check because mechanics here dont seem to find a leak anywhere as for the trans remember i was going to buy another one and change it as a core no i didnt do that they rebuilt mine got it out of the shop and was ok after 30 minuter driving again that 3rd gear something maybe messing it up do not know what to do anymoreee im really upset with all this. this truck seriously needs some help

does the little arm up under it lift up while the truck is idling?

engine light came on earlier today idle control valve

1.)Have not changed it going to do that tomorrow morning..


2.)Another thing all that shaking like if its going to die which sometimes does what does that mean with smoke coming out sometimes after turning truck on?

3.)last thing is i removed the air induction tube and it was full of oil also their was a small amount on the throttle body!!!!


any thoughts maybe blower went bad it was used when i bought it!!!!

I wouldn't worry about the blower, it would lock up or make horrible noises if it was bad.
If you replaced the bad plugs and it's still running like crap. Maybe you have a bad COP. or,you blew the head gasket .

how can you tell if the head gasket is blownd?

Or if you get a code.
Head gasket = oil in water,water in oil, or white smoke out the tail pipe.

mechanic checked them he said they seem to be good as for the head gasket those where not changed

i was told that if the induction tube and throttle body had oil the supercharger is sendint to much pressure and that mean one of my piston or piston rings are messed it can that be true if yes R.I.P motor

Do you have an oil separator installed?
A little oil in the intake and throttle body is normal for the L set up!

no i do not have one installed. i got it ordered yesterday should be on its way...what does an oil seperator do?

as for the shaking can it be the MAF i disconnect and nothing happens is their a way to check it?
