4.6 supercharger 2004-2008

I see is people talking about writeups or info on the subject and to just search and you will find it. i did and no info other than match your motor to the same mustang motor valve count/yr. can anyone point me to some more actual info other than telling me to search for it? I had planned on doing a diy sts rear turbo build but ive always liked s/c's. I havent found anyone that has actually done a build with one.

from what i gather i want a positive displacement for on demand low end torque. it is a truck that i drive every day and tow with, am i wrong in this assumption? i dont plan on running 100+mph i just want that burn the rubber off torque and fun 0-60. centrifugal is much more simliar to a turbo so a procharger unit would be an option for that style? im looking for the best fit for my wants without having to make it very custom. It looks as if those wants dont match the install as centrigugal would be an easier install correct? If that is the case i will just build the rear mount like i had been planning on from the beginging.

look at the tork tech kit then, honestly a wastegated centrufigal will be the easiest install but it's your truck and if you want a water sucker then get the STS "kit"

i emailed the company, i appreciate the push in the right direction. it seems as this kit would be a really simple way to add a 150 or so horses to my truck without making it super complicated. I think i could definetly build a rear mount turbo for less but i think this kit will make me happier.

it's a liquid to air i/c setup so I do not understand where the air to air idea is coming from

no, if you use the cobra TB, your stock throttle cable will bolt right up I am not sure about the cruise control cable though

regarding the inlet duct, you can use one off of a roush mustang and it will put the air box on the correct side for ease of wiring

150rwhp minimum

depending on fuel mods (injectors, pump and MAF) and the tune you might see more

do i have a throttle cable? i was under the assumption that i had a throttle by wire? and yea you are correct on the air to air, my brain was working turbo/centrifugal. i emailed tork tech to see if they have had anyone put the kit on a f150. we will see what they say, its defintly a cheap way to supercharge, looks like for about 3k i can have it done plus tuning.

I forgot about the drive by wire, that makes it much much easier for the throttle body / cruise control issues

Could not be further from the truth. I drive in the rain all the time with my rear mount. Never one issue
