Exhaust For SC'd Pics

Took some pics of my system this weekend and thought I'd share. Let me know what you think.

The system is made up of DynaTech LT's ceramic coated, Magnaflow Hi-Flow Cats, X-pipe, & muffler (12568) and the tips I cut off from my Magnaflow catback system (16616). Heres a link to the album https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...st+system.html

Looks great Bro!!

Can you tell any difference in the under hood temps with the coating on the LT's ? Before you went with the LT and free flowing exhaust what where you seeing before and after boost "psi" wise. I personally saw 14psi before I went with Shorty’s and no cats and went from 2 1/2 in to 3in to 3 1/2 in. and ditched the clogmaster for the magnaflow. Now I see 11 to 12psi max but picked up quit a bit in the mid to top end.

Did you notice and difference when you added the X in to the system?

Did you weld the wideband O2’s in one of the primaries or did you put them in the collectors?

Are those 1 7/8 primaries?

Can you post your before and after specs with your exhaust system

Thanks

Its cooler under there but I don't have exact numbers. I went from factory manifolds to these and they were ceramic coated from the start. I lost about a 1lb of boost. With a 10psi setup I only see that number on certain days. My wideband O2 is welded in the collector. The primaries are 1 3/4. As for a performance gain I added everything from the headers back at the same time I switched to 10psi so I can't say how much of a difference the system made. The Magnaflow muffler also has an x-pipe inside it. Everything is 2.5 ID and no 2.5OD was used. I had them swell the 2.5OD to fit over the other 2.5OD at all the unions. Trying to keep flow as high as possible with 2.5. Probably wouldn't have made a huge difference but when I make up my mind thats the end of it lol.

What kind of driveshaft is that? Is it aftermarket or just painted? Ive been doing research on them between a 2 peice and 1 peice and they different metals.

Thanks for the compliments all. The driveshaft is from driveshaft specialist. It is a two piece. $650 if i remember correctly. They did not recommend a single piece as it would have to be huge to handle the power and the chance of vibration would be increased.

Yea I was looking into a 2 peice aluminum or 1 peice chromoly. Aparently because chromoly is a tiny bit heavier it has less of a chance to vibrate but still thats a long driveshaft.

Do you have any videos on the forum of your exhaust? I just did lt's, 2.5", same exact muffler as you, and I too did a side exit. But mine is pretty quiet, I'm wondering how much louder yours is with the blower?

You have two x-pipes? Any reason as to why? Curious as Im possibly looking for a new muffler
