I was just looking at different things on Whipples home page. Let me know what you think of this, I'm not even sure if it works on our set up or not.

AIR BYPASS VALVE ASSEMBLIES http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/...sp?ProdID=1233

Think it's worth trying?

doesn't it already come with one? unless I am reading it wrong from their website...last line below mentions the bypass system.

"Systems come complete with a high-flow cold-air intake system, aluminum intake manifold and air-to-water intercooler, Ford Racing PCM reflash tool, Ford Racing 0 range spark plugs, air-bypass system and all the necessary hardware for a simple installation."

I am about to get a set of 39# injectors but am just curious of something. I am looking at the M-9593-M39 injectors. Is there a reason that some are blue and some are black? Are they the same or is there a difference?

Gunna try to price match blue oval's price and get them at either JEGS or summit racing like you said. Its just the picture of it on summit racing is black and the one on blue oval is blue. Just wanted to make sure they are the same.

Sorry, I didn’t' have time to go through all of the posts but what do your boost and fuel pressure gauges read when this happens?
I don't drive mine much and sometimes the by-pass sticks open, or at least that is what I think it is. Any acceleration results in higher rpm but no power. Boost is non-existent and reads vacuum. I can let up on the gas and/or downshift and boost and power return. Once I drive it for a while it's OK.
Also some of the early units had problems with the valve itself.
Hope this helps.

the bypass is the part with 2 o-rings like i stated above. it is easy to check. just watch the lever and start the truck. With the truck off the lever is all the way one way and when the truck starts and supplies vacuum to the bypass the lever will go all the way the other way. If you shut the truck off and the lever returns when vacuum is gone then its working properly.

passenger side rear of the blower, you will see it comming out of a black vacuum pod with a black vacuum hose. the lever then attatches to the bypass.
