Rear mounted turbo setup for 2002 5.4

I recently purchased a kit that came off of a truck just like mine. It is a shop built kit that they ran on this truck for quite a while and, according to them, put out 476 hp to the rear wheels. The turbo is a borg warner, T5, if I remember correctly, and it does have the oil pump and intercooler with it.
My big concern is that I have 137,000 miles on the truck and am not quite ready to blow the s*** out of it.

What do you think I should do?

pay attention to the questions you ask in other people threads

PLUS you need to find out the AR size, what injectors does it come with? fuel pump? what blow thru MAF? who's gonna tune it?

Yeah that was my reaction as well, I don't think 476 rear wheel is possible on stock internals, that thing would blow apart almost instantly lol.

If so, that was probably one of very few runs! 476 hp would be about three times what the stock engine made for rwhp.
A BW T5, is a transmission.......more research required, here.

476rwhp on a stock internal N/A engine wont last long!!!! Go built before pushing it that hard. Unless you keep the boost low i wouldnt install it yet. You want to say around the low-mid 350rwhp mark on a boosted stock n/a motor with a very good tune.

I'd stick to 8psi for a stock motor.

How do these STS turbo trucks drive for daily driving? I really like the idea of a turbo for driving up into the mountains. Turbos make their own atmosphere which is a huge plus when you are above 6K feet.

I'd rather not jump up to a f250 yet.

I would run 476rwhp turbo setup on a 2v 5.4 without thinking twice about it..
