Boost vs RPM

If you have the time and are able could people post their boost at rpm for their set up. I drove around in Second gear and tried to mark boost at different RPM. I am just curious to see what others are capable of.
I have a Procharger with a 12psi set up.
At 2000 rpm my gauge shows 2 psi.
At 3500 it shows 5 psi.
At 4000 it shows 7 psi.
At 5000 rpm it shows 10 PSI and finally
at 5500 it is making 12 psi.
It is quite a thrill to try and watch a boost gauge on the A pillar, a tach on the right side of the instrument cluster and the road. It took about 20 minutes to do it because I was alone and it was dark and I was using an on ramp to the highway. I had to pick an rpm to check it at and glance at the boost gauge all the while keeping the truck on the road and not letting off of the gas. Once that rpm was checked I went to the next exit turned around and did it again just to confirm the number. If you are wondering why I didn't find a secluded section of highway to do it... Because the fines for exceeding the speed limit by 50kph (30mph) is loss of Licence big fines plus points and the vehicle is impounded for a week. My truck does 65mph in second at 5500 rpm. Speed limit is 62 mph (100 KPH)

Depends on what pulley combo I'm running, but right now I see 16PSI as soon as the skinny pedal hits the floor.

Phil,
Thanks for the reply but your set up is too wild to compare to mine. I basically want to compare the Procharger to other "stock" set ups to see where they start getting boost and how much they get at different rpm.
So while I have your attention if you start with 16 psi @2000 rpm what is the max????

Regards

Max is 16 psi.
Pretty sure you'll get the same answer from the Whipple guys. Whatever there pulleyed for they get right away.
Now the roots guys might fluctuate a little but they work close to the same way. Some might say they see a couple more #s at higher rpms. Some might see a little less at higher rpms.

Centrifugal and turbos are the only blower that build boost with rpm.

Mine is pretty much the same as Phil ......with 1/2 the boost (8psi)

I'm usually looking at the road when I nail it. As soon as I turn my head to look at boost, it's 8 psi.

That's what I see on my Procharger setup.

I see 5 at 2,000, 8 at 2,500, 9 (max) at 3,200. This is a centri with a wastegate, so not much to compare it to. I do have 26 psi on tap though.

What throttle position were you at during those runs? On my Procharger setup it seems like I have to be darn near flooring it (80% or greater) to see any sort of boost. I wish I could get more boost at part throttle.

Those numbers are at Wide Open Throttle. Like you there is no boost at part throttle.

I see around 5 - 7 psi immediately then and a little over 13 psi at 5500. Generally make 5 - 7 psi @ 60% throttle position and can modulate from there. This is with the stock ATI by-pass valve too. With the ATI setup you should have no problems making at least 5 psi at 2000 rpms and 100% TP.

Oh, and turbos build boost with LOAD, not rpms.

I WISH mine did that! Ahhh it's driving me nuts!! lol

But seriously, thanks for all the help so far. Just hope I can make this Turbo XS bypass work the same as yours somehow. Yeah, that would be awesome if you were near your truck, but it's not your fault that you aren't

Just curious, where do you have the small vacuum hose for the bypass valve tapped into on your truck?
