Intake manifold question

I know this technically isnt about a supercharger, but right now i am working on my HD superchager conversion for my 2000 5.4 L expedition. Today i removed the stock intake manifold, and i am waiting for parts to arrive tommorrow to get the new gaskets and stuff so i can drop my new one in. I noticed on my intake manifold however, there is a threaded hole, and i spigot type component that screws into it, but i saw nothing of the sort of the stock manifold. My question is what is it, where would i hook it up, and if i need to hook it up at all. I will get a picture of it up here soon. Thanks for any help

Ok so after reading your post again i dont think that is what your talking about.

But im thinking maybe the previous owner of that manifold performed the coolant crossover mod?

Good idea. Im guessing thats what it is though.

Is it in relatively the some position as the coolant tube on the passenger side, but just on the opposite side? If its the coolant crossover mod that fitting should correspond with the back coolant jacket on the drivers side head.

Ok so now i do know that that hole is related to the PCV system, but i wanted an alternative to plugging it and getting an oil seperator (as that is fairly expensive). That hole has to connect to something, so if anybody knows, the help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you talking about the hole on the back bottom center of the manifold?

If so,
it gos from there to a T ,(passenger side). The bottom of the T gos to the valve cover, the top of the T gos to the back side of your idle air control.

If that's the hole you are talking about.

Try using photobucket. It's makes posting pics easy!
