getting a procharger soon what do I need?

I'm in the Navy and getting ready to deploy to Naples Italy for six months and the per diem rate is really high. I am going pay off all my bills including the truck and want to get the ati procharger when I get back. What do I need besides the procharger kit? I have looked around on the forum to try to write it all down. I am getting the basic kit with the p1sc and two core. The truck has a six inch lift with 35s, and 456 gears and a auburn gear posi. Is there any thing else I need? And what have you found to be the most effective? The truck is going to be a daily driver.
Thank you in advance formuladriver.

Thank you for the advice I have heard about running a after market blow off valve and a diff throttle body and maf or is the stock parts good? Also the truck has a superchips programer, throttle bottle spacer, and a cold air intake. Will those parts have to be removed? Should I also put headers and true duals on it?

yes its recommended to first have some sort of exhaust mods before forcing more air in.. if u dont get exhaust mods your heat temps will go up because of all of the added resistance to exhaust flow. its like having a big fart stored up but u cant let it out all at once. stock MAF should be fine but yes the stock bypass valves that pro charger includes in their kits are less than desirable

pay the extra $$ for the 3 core innercooler then add 42# injectors, a SVT 90mm MAF and a dyno tune.

long tube headers with a 12# pulley (3.40 head pulley with the ATI crank pulley on the 5.4, unsure of the 4.6) makes a good bit of difference

the COLA rate is **** poor so don't plan on making a ton of $$$$$ unless you live cheap while you're there

^^What he said about the injectors and a tune with the 90mm MAF. I'm in the process of doing this to mine now. I have no idea why ATI sells our kits with an FMU, it's just so damn inconsistent. But I couldn't do the tune route at first because I didn't have the extra money a couple months ago.

I have the 5.4 with 78000 on the eng. and trans. The front and rear diff are rebuilt. Should I rebuild the eng. trans. and t case for the added power? And does any one know where a good shop to tune the truck is around the Hampton roads Va. area?
AGAIN THANK YOU ALL WHO GAVE ADVICE.

I'm running a factory tech valve body and my 4r70 is still working fine

when the time comes then rebuild your motor, trans and toss some real boost at it

built5.4 is running incredible power thru his stock t-case

https://www.f150online.com/forums/en...-progress.html watch some of his video's

My Cousin has been running the Booster cooler by Snow Performance on his Lightning and Harley trucks. Very much worth the time and money, works off the boost pressure to keep the air charge temps down. The methanol is also extra fuel during WOT and Part Throttle. His trucks Scream, I am installing one as we speak. Work on N/A and Boosted motors, but have different stages to choose from.

Troyer Performance is in Virginia. Call him with what you want to do. He could hook you up with a Blower and a tune installed.

I would get a shift kit, 42# injectors, 255lph fuel pump, 90mm MAF and a good dyno tune.

crash welcome back

p.s. Mike no longer offers his intake or pulley for the procharged trucks
