Talking Shaker with a supercharger

Before I bought my supercharger, I had the CDC shaker intake on my truck. It gave the truck a very aggressive look, unfortunately there was no way to make it work with the supercharger. This was an issue since there was a big hole in my hood. So here I took the scoop, had some brackets made and here it is mounted on the bottom side of my hood.

Truck is filthy, so please forgive me.

Here is the shaker along with some hood vents.

One of the vents ended up above the new air intake, so I made this cover to go over it so it didn't get water in it.

Underside of the hood where the shaker is mounted now.

And before you give me any grief about it, yes, there is a stuffed animal sticking out of my dash gauge pod

Well I'm hoping so, I really haven't driven it much since I put the charger on, but I would guess they would be lower than normal as much damn cutting has been done on this thing.

Kinda regret not painting the underside of those vents now

Nice look. Where did you get the hood vents?

Those are the 3d carbon hood vents.
If anyone decides to do them, I suggest panel bond, the double sided tape that came with them didn't hold worth a damn.

I like the look but I think you run the chance of running lean cause the faster you go the more air is pushed into that filter but if its safe I may have to play with my hood

The MAF sensor should pick up on the increase in air flow and adjust the mixture when you start speeding up.

post some farther away shots, I want to see how it looks with the hood down etc. Looks pretty sweet so far though.

Yeah I think MAF should pick up any changes and it's nothing a tune wouldn't fix

IRONS1N, here is the only other pic I have of the truck at the moment.

There is still no fog lights in those holes, I'm thinking of seeing if I can make some kind of tubing to run more air up under the hood. I have no plans of actully putting lights in there. At the very least, I will put some kind of wire mesh in those holes.

Put a (Snow) water/meth kit on it.
I ran this one on a non intercooled KB kit and worked great. Had it set to come on a 3 PSI of boost.

What's up crash? I talked to you when I first got my 04 about going turbo before yall had one. I decided to hold off since my truck was throwing rear ends out left and right when it was brand new. What do you know, 5 years later I'm finally going forced induction.
