can you say traction issues?

OK, here is what did and why. The rims that my 33s 305 70r 16 ATs are mounted on are looking dull and pitted. I decided to take the wheels off and put them in the basement where I can restore the shine. I put my back my stock rims with 265 70R 16 Cooper ATs on for now. Now I can understand why lightnings use slicks for traction. Specially with even smaller 29 inch tall tires.

Regards

I feel your pain, as anything under 25 mph instantly breaks the tires loose, like your riding on ice. I am still running 17's, just with wider wheels and tires.

I can't relate!
I have Roush Intercooled S/C kit, SIDO exhaust, Troyer tune, and cannot even begin to squeal the tires. No complaints with performance, though - truck is pretty quick.

My first run down the track with my new engine and 4.30 gears with 305/40/22's the tires stopped spinning when I let off the gas in 3rd gear at the 60' mark....... I just wish I had traction I cant seem to get below 2.20 for my 60' times mainly it is between 2.20 and 2.40. My luck is my tires are just about 31.5 tall and the tallest drag radial I can find to fit 18x10 rims is only 28.8 inches tall so lord help me when I ge tthem and hopefully they will stick.....
