Stock injectors work with the standard 8psi kit. If you want to upgrade to 10psi or more, you'll need to move up to a 39lb injector.

The stock tune is okay, but it will probably be sent with a speed limiter to keep you under 98mph, so be prepared for that disappointment. A custom tune is definately the way to go if you want the most out of the Whipple.

Power with the stock kit will give you around 340-350 rwhp and 360-380rwtq.

Doesn't the Whipple kit come with upgraded injectors? Or are they the same output as stock???

If they do come with upgraded injectors, does that mean 10psi is not a problem?

Mark, what have you done to yours? I spoke with a couple comapnies and they told me a boost a pump might be worth getting if I'm looking for 10psi+

The base kit doesn't come with injectors. You use the stock ones with it.

If you upgrade to 10 psi, you'll need the 39 lb injectors.

Whats the base kit? I've only seen one kit that sells for around $5k that says it includes everything. I'll be more then happy to find a tuner kit so I can put the parts together myself...

Anyone know a place?

This is the claimed hp from whipple on a stock 05 5.4L.........

"With 8psi of boost being forced through the intercooler, the stock engine produces nearly 475HP to the flywheel and 394 RWHP!"

Plus I have 1 5/8" dynatech long tubes with high flow cats and magnaflow catback....

so i think it should be over 400 rwhp and over 440 rwtq but who know right....

I got 361 RWHP with the standard 8psi kit. Injectors, fuel pump, and new tune got 397 with ~10psi.
