That makes sense. Haven't really figured out for sure but would go with Whipple if for no other reason than they are proven. I suppose I'd consider another brand but was actually hoping to find a shop that I could have that conversation with. Any thoughts?

I would suggest that you search and read post from owners with various brands of superchargers who are in CALIFORNIA.
Going to a shop without knowledge will put you in a bad position.
Ok. I'll spell it out the question a little more clearly for anyone who might actually be interested in helping instead of wasting time, server space and bandwidth with foolishness.
Does anyone know of a shop anywhere in Orange County, California that might be able to advise someone on superchargers?
Thanks in advance for any helpful replies. Cryptic, smart-a$$, and any other types of useless responses aren't necessary.
That would be really great.

1. You have no idea what brand you are going with so I suggested reading what others are running in California.
2. Shops sell what they can get for the best price and can make the most profit on which might not be whats best for your needs.
3. If you consider it useless information that I stated going to a shop without knowledge (pricing, what you want, brands) will put you in a bad position, wasting bandwidth with foolishness..........

A high priced kit that will not make enough power to keep a little girl happy for more than a week.
Drew was trying to Help!!!!!!

My apologies Drew. I was operating under the bad assumption that you can go to a physical location and get assistance/good advice. I'll follow your advice and do some more reading, and thanks for your time. You too Phil.
It seems that there are a lot of brands out there and I find its pretty tough to sift through the opinions here and know who to trust/who knows what they are talking about.
Sorry again for my shortness!

Ya that was my first kit.It was an Alen Engine Development kit with 5 PSI.
Not bad for a little M90 and at 10 &1/2 PSI it did pretty good.
But I needed more!

What about Saleen?
I'm the newest kid and spend most of my time trying to learn as much from you all before I jump in. But what the heck, here is my 2 cents. I have been looking to throw a s/c into my 06 H-D w/AWD and have decided on the Saleen Series VI with the dash pod kit (the same one that Ford is having Saleen put in the 07 Harley [about 150hp/150lbs torque]). They can do the install for you at their HQ in Irvine (you said you were looking for something in Orange County). The kit itself is around $5400 install around $1000. In parts, I recommend talking to Ned. I have found a dealer here in CO that will do it for about the same. Either way, good luck on which every s/c you pick.
