Nice. I like the polished head unit. I remember when my Procharger was somewhat clean...

my pos HIGH mileage 91 ranger with 4.0 and 5spd will stomp all over my truck. stock vs stock and the ranger has oversized tires w/o new gears. why? cause it weighs about half lol. now that i think of it, that rangers pretty quick for an old dog.

i wanna see some smoke JMC!

The winch is back where it belongs and the pipes are between the frame and the rad.

my 2wd supercrews weight was around 5000 empty, Jmc's TRUCK Has to be more. I am guessing your ranger is around 3850 empty, compared to 5000# it is light. JMC would need about 90 hp more than the ranger for it to be a fair race with that kind of weight difference (based on 7 hp to drop a tenth or lose 100 pound to drop a tenth).

I would guess that jmc's truck with him in it and a 1/2 tank gas is 5400#

HI!... Yes but considering that my F-150 only weighed around 4550LBS with me in it, the new RANGER is a pig!!! My "83" Ranger only weighed in at 3100LBS and that was with a 351-W in it. But a lot has changed in the Rangers since then.

Either way JEAN-MARC, I'll just wait until your Manual crap box break and sail to the finish line! BWAAAAA! (JOKING)...........

Klitch,

I am having cooling problems with the engine using the location that I chose. The tanks are positioned across the rad and they block quite a bit of air flow to the rad. I was going to modify the way it was mounted today but it is raining. If it is nice tomorrow I will snap a few of the way I have it. Basically it is resting on the pipes and coat hanger hooks hold it to the rad cross brace. I have a 3 inch body lift so the pipes pass between the frame and the rad. I needed to cut the brace that comes down to the bottom of the rads support. to make room for the intercooler.
