DIY turbo f150 phase 1, gettin' parts
update
I hav e picked up a 32v navi motor for cheap and have had to switch to a new turbo supplier. lucky for me an upgraded version of the turbo is now available. sorry for the wait on updates everyone
Anything updated so far. I'm interested in a diy build but can't seem to figure out how to run the manifolds. The stock one's can't be flipped cause theirs no room. coming from the drivers side you hit the front driveshaft. Plus the stock drivers side has a vacume line running from it. "What is that for anyway?" My only guess is custom headers which are expensive. ANybody know if the mustang or crown vic manifolds will work?
Still trying to get a supplier who will tell me it is IN STOCK READY TO SHIP. I am not going to pay before i know it is in stock. If you flip the manifolds, you have clearance issyes with the abs box and the a/c lines. I was also wondering if mustang manifolds(headers) would work. Depends on the outlet angle.
will update more as it becomes available

I have been thinking of this for some time but now I'm serious. I have a 2000 extended cab F150 and I want to build a 5.4 and turbo it. Glad u started this project because I'm now going to do it! Good luck and maybe we can bounce ideas off eachother. I thught about STS but I want the tubro inder the hood too!
Yep thats my next project turbo my 2000 F150 extended cab with my 5.4 rebuilt with forged internals, heads ported and some turbo cams!
Lucky My friend has a chassis dyno and knows how to tune the setup!
