Yeap forged pistons can make a bad tuner look good

On my Falcon I'm spraying 275 hp's of nitrous from a dead stop and if it's out of tune she'll let you know is a heart beat. A/F and timing is the name of the game.

Maybe some safety switches might help, like low fuel pressure switch that shut's off the ignition due to a lean condition??

you need a wideband o2 sensor/guage and EGT gauge minimum. fuel pressure gauge wouldn't hurt either.

Heres a link to a place that sells Lightning short blocks. I think your heads should bolt right on. They have Forged pistons and crank. I'm not sure about the rods but since they manufacture the blocks you can call and see.
You really can't beat their price.
