That's a 25HP increase at 5k RPM... 5k was the max peak HP with the limiters on...

360 Stock @5000RPM
385 Tuned @ 5000RPM
Pretty good increase.

Still need to see some track times.

SUreal

So I see this kit from Powerworks juts yesterday. I haven't been on in a long time but checked the site out tonight, and here I am looking at this set-up in real cyber time. I am sold on this kit big time.

I installed a rancho lift kit by myself and can get around pretty good mechanic wise. Is this an install I could do with average knowledge being a shade tree mechanic?

I will be contacting you all about this in mid summer, I hope you will still be able to make deals on the polished one. I think that with the polished valve covers would be a nice set-up under the hood.

How many liters is this SC and what's the maximum CFM rating?

It may be the best bang for the buck...

That's not a true comparrison. For starters it appears both the speed limiter and rev limiter have been removed on the Steeda truck since the stock limits are 98mph and 5200 RPM so the HP numbers will be higher. Also, Drew had no correction numbers on his dyno run, and the Steeda used standard correction factors which are 4% higher than SAE. So lets say that IF the dyno's were exactly the same lets add 4% for the correction fact and conservatively another 4% because Drew had no correction factor and was running the stock limiters.

360 x 1.08 = 388hp

Bingo!

1.8 L. it is a 112ci blower. You can go to the Magnuson website to see what the flow and efficiency curves are.

(by the way, i have the whipple kit,jba headers, and flowmaster exhaust). thanks.
I had my truck Dyno'd there (no tune) and they didn't even know how many speeds my tranny was... I mean, c'mon. I wouldn't go there for custom tuning on these trucks...

Talking Wife got 14.5 MPG hwy I'm still under 10 in the city

We put a few miles on the truck going from Anaheim, Ca. to Mesa, Az. and I was pleased with everything. 1 tank of gas got us there. I used a tank just playing in Az(heavy foot) and 1 tank home...

Thanks for the most insightful comment...but if you could help a brother out and provide what you think are good places to go for custom tuning
