I was originally planning a few things and possibly involving an AEM unit with the route I'd like to go. But I have things to sort in how I want to sort this project out.

Can you say custom Powerworks tune time I can
Your 22's definetly are not helping you any at the RWHP department but I'd still like to see this graph with corrected numbers and the same axis scaling used for both HP and TQ. Numbers look as good as the 8psi Whipple stuff I have seen with thier out of the box tune.

Good luck

edit : Nice numbers anaheim_drew..Get the sucker to the track
Drew is running the stock program that comes with our kit. You do not need to "Tune it Yourself" with our kit, and our kit and calibration has an EO number with it.

And you also have the option of the new hand-held programmer with a couple of open tuning options.

4x4 Powerworks Truck Info

I'm posting this to show a 4x4 supercab supercharged by Powerworks for those who own 4x4's and want an idea on the potential gains

3 PSI difference, I'd say I held my own. Here's a video.

This is an ALL stock F150 4x4 Supercab long bed with 3.55:1 axles, no cat back exhaust no other changes other than the Powerworks kit at 61/2 - 7 PSI.

I've made quite a few more changes to the truck including balancing the driveline and changing over to speed rated tires and removing the limiter. If all of this stuff you guys are talking about is true, I can't wait to run her again in 3rd.

HI!... Just a little warning about LIVINOIS MOTORSPORTS dyno. It reads WAY high. A buddy of mine went there and they said he was making like 372RWH.P. I only make 354RWH.P in N/A trim and I beat him by like 10-12 truck lengths in the 1/4 mile. Both trucks are similiar in weight and gearing. Another buddy went there with a MUSTANG and spent thousands and gained 7RWH.P. Also a bunch of local LS1 (CAMARO) guys went there and all there dyno #'s were WAY high like 50-75RWH.P.

whats going on as far as the powerworks for the 4.6? especially out east here.

my one concern would be because of the difference in temperatures, (90's in the summer, 0's in the winter) do the tunes have to change based on the drastic temp. change?

Hot, Cold, Altitude. I'm out here in Cali doing some work on the 4.6L Mustang kit now. Might go out to the SVTOA meet at Willow Springs after SEMA just to get some track time. Most of the development testing was done in the winter in Michigan on the F150. As with anything we reccomend that you warm things up before beating on them which is only comon sense.

charger installed...

Hey andrew,
Just got my truck back from SCS&S, (thanks for the info) charger installed and so far so good! I still think I need to go with 4:10's to get the full hit of the boost. Time will tell.... (By the way, I dropped 3 seconds on my 0 to 60 times.)
Later...

I should have had my wife take a few pix of your truck and supercharger but we were running late when you came by.

Here is a dyno without the limiters and a custom tune with xcal

compared to mine with limiters and stock tune

So as you see we have room for growth with some adjustments. I'm going in for a custom tune this weekend at Swanson's. You should come..

Baseline it before and after the tune. It will be interesting to see the difference the tune makes on the same dyno, same day. I noticed that your original graph is in actual values and the one you are comparing uses STD correction. What were your original numbers with the correction factor?

hey drew,
just saw your truck last weekend at the sunset ford carshow. wanted to talk but i think it was only your wife and kid near your truck. i wanted to ask if you knew any experienced SCT tuners in the area. i originally had my truck tuned by JBA performance in SD. they gave me a real safe custom tune but i feel they dont seem to be the most experienced in this area. i would like to have my shift points adjusted. i think my downshift from 4th to 3rd is sluggish. (by the way, i have the whipple kit,jba headers, and flowmaster exhaust). thanks.
