If you got the complete kit from ATI you should have all the parts you need. The surge valve, or blow off valve connects to the valve which is just before the intercooler to the metal connector at the top just after the MAF sensor. If you run the black hose with the red stripe down from the top and then forward it should pass in front of the oil filter and to the valve. I'm not saying that this is the best way, just the route I took with mine and it works fine. The crank vent tube connects to the PCV valve from the rubber elbow that has the two holes in it. You should have a small rubber tube and a plastic elbow for that in the kit. Sorry, no pics. Hope that helps.

I tapped into the vacume lines on the passenger side up on the cowl, very close to the battery. You'll have to go to the parts store to get a 4 point connector. There's a 3 point on there now. Then just find a safe route down to the valve making sure to stay away from any moving parts and be sure to tie them down with zip ties.

Not sure if this will help you out any but here is a few pics of my install I did back in '03. It can be done by one guy. I did mine by myself at 17.

What kind of gauges are you running? Electrical fuel pressure gauge? That A/F gauge will be nothing but a fancy light show unless you have it calibrated or run off a LM-1.

GOT THE TRUCK TO RUN, but it sounds like ****, the idle is all messed up and idk im thinking running the 12# pully isnt to smart with stock internals.. HELP ? and can you guys help me with the boost gauge and fuel pressure question? oh and to add, the metal pipe that comes as part of the intake system, with the pcv valve and surge vavle, is it supposed to be pointed back to the blower or to the filter?

Were did you tap in for the vac. source for the bypass valve? If you used the EGR source then take it off. Get a 4-way "T" fitting from an auto parts store and use it to replace the factory 3-way fitting on the firewall on the passenger side of the engine bay. It leads to the vaccum reservoir and is a fed by a main vaccum line from the TB elbow. That is also the source you should use for the FMU and boost gauge. For the fuel pressure gauge, if you have one that uses an electrical sending unit, you can get an adapter from Autometer and thread it on the the Schrader valve on the passenger side fuel rail. From there you just run the harness to the gauge inside the truck. Also what size pulley is on the blower? The 9# pulley should have 3.70 stamped on it. The 12# pulley is a 3.40.

Not tryin to be a ****, but it sounds like this is a bit much for your mechanical level, theres no shame in loadin it on a trailer and takin it to someone who knows what they are doing

I think you should have a custom tune with the 12# pulley. I'd recommend a 255 fuel pump and 42lb. injectors, IMHO the ATI FMU (if that's what you've got in your kit, you didn't really give too much info) is barely adequate at the stock boost level.

Plus a 3-core intercooler for sure. The base kits typically have a 2-core interooler but I don't know what you have.

And a 90mm Lightning (or other) MAF.
