WOW, I didn't think Ford was allowed to use the name Boss anymore for its cars. Maybe they struck a deal with the late great Larry Shinoda's family for rights. Still a good looking truck. Thanks for sharing.

I see that one is intercooled...I never understood why they first released the s/c without a intercooler

That's the LA West "Boss" F-150. They are also called the GT/R. The supercharger is the intercooled Roush with an exhaust, and the HP numbers are at the flywheel. That truck might see 340 at the rear wheels.

Still a sweet looking truck. I like the side panels/running boards and contemplated them for mine, but when I contacted them about the fender flares, I'd have to cut mine to make everything fit right. I'd enjoy finding one of those on the street and blowing it away with my whipple.

Hey 05roushmarklt,
Have you got the bugs out of your whipple yet? Are you going to step up with bigger injectors and a different tune? That would have been a pain to cut up your gear to get the bodykit to fit.

I actually really like that truck. I like the vents on the fenders and the hood a lot.

anyone know what that hood would run?

Looks like you were at 314 at the rear wheels before doing the cat delete. Roush states that the intercooler adds around 40 horses at the flywheel with the intercooler, which would be around 25-30 at the rear wheels, so I'd imagine 340 is a decent estimate.

Lumadar, do a search for LA West on google and you'll be able to find their contact information. They sell all the parts seen on that truck either in a package or individually.

HI!... Well if it's actually making 460H.P at the flywheel, it should make about 380RWH.P. There is about a 70-80H.P drivetrain loss on the new F-150's. The older F-150's had about a 65H.P drivetrain loss for the 4R70-W and a 70H.P loss for the 4R-100.

That, my friend, is right on the money! That's about what I'd hope to see since I have 345 now with just a catback. Plus the intercooled kit is 7.5 psi. I WANT THAT INTERCOOLER!!!!!!!

HI!... Well I'm making over 300RWH.P with my built 5.4 with only 8.42:1 compression and turbo grind cams in N/A form. Can't wait to get the t-76 turbo installed. But it looks like that will be next spring now. I have to buy another vehicle for a daily driver before that project gets started. lol!
