Eibach 2/3 or 2/4 opinions and details needed.

I have wanted to lower this truck for some time. I am partial to Eibach. I also do not want to lower the truck in a way that requires the leaf springs to be "flipped". I have Caltrec traction bars so i cannot mount the leaf springs under the axle. So my question is: Is this how either of the Eibach kits work? Also what experince good or bad do you have with the eibach kits?

Not sure about Eibach kits but my Belltech 2/4 didn't require "flipping" of the leaf springs. They are just raised higher on the frame.

You could use the eibach springs on the front and get a decent ride but I would recomend the belltech street perfomance struts or the belltech drop spindle. With the spring you will end up wearing out the strut in due time anyway.

For the rear I have heard many great things about the eibach rear leaf springs. I have not used them personally but many on here have them.

Front: Belltech Strut or Belltech Spindle
Rear: If you do not want to use the flip kit by Belltech then I would recommend the leaf springs by Eibach.

im a fan of the belltech spindle, as jsvo and tss said, it took me about 20 min from when i jacked up the truck to back on the ground 2" lower.

the eibach 4" rear drop is a leaf and a shackle which actually has 2 holes so it can actually be a 5" drop fyi

Ok so it looks like a Belltech spindle set is in my future. Now this rear set up from Eibach. Does the 3'' or 4" kit change the forward end of how the leaf spring bolts to the frame as this would directly impact the mounting of my traction bars. Here are some pics below so you can see how they mount to the stock setup. All your help is much appreciated!! I am set on lowering the truck, I just want to do it right the first time and with the right parts.

TSS please pm me a price on the spindles and if you carry the Eibach parts a price on those too.

The 1" Eibach shackle has one hole.

There are many many people who swear by the Eibach kit. If you want a sporty ride then go that route.

A sporty or stiff ride is fine with me. I have the rear shocks set pretty firm now. If I could stiffin up the front I would be thrilled.

Looks like the 35112.550 kit from Eibach is the kit for me. 2" 4" drop and it will not change the mounting of Caltrec bars. Now to find a deal on it?!? May also be hunting for some shocks to go with it.

I suggest the Eibach pro damper kit. I have it with my GF 2/4 and the truck rides perfect.

Look up member Ogredd, he has a thread on him putting the complete Eibach kit on his Harley.

Just ordered the 2" 4" kit!!! I can't wait to get it and install it. Will ship in 8 days. Should be getting it for $438 shipped from jegs.com. I did the price match thing from tirerack who sells it for $425 plus $74 in shipping. With jegs shipping is free just a $13 handling fee. Gonna hold off on the shocks for now. I will probably order a set of QA1 dual adjustables for the front like I have on the rear. This will be of the most benefit on the track and the street. Thanks for all the pointers and I must say Eibach's tech department was very helpful just as TSS has been.
