ART King Ranch build thread
Slam specialties bags i was running about 450 psi when i took that pic. The top of the tailgate when lifted is 6'5" tall. Status will be doing my 93 when i get ready to do a frame up body drop on 24s. The main guy was actually trying to buy my truck at the last show i went to. I cant remember his name but he has the 88-98 chevy thats body dropped.

Can't wait to see progress on this thing! gonna be sick! I would be a bit cautious about the 2 link though, since you do drive it everyday. I've never quite understood why Ektensive only does 2 links, when every other shop offers 4 links. Never heard anything bad about there 2 links, but it just seems too simple for them for the amount of work they put into some of there trucks. Still think you should get a set of 24 or 26" billets though, just for shows or something
Raceline will hook it up!
Another shop I've been keeping my eye on in Texas, and man do they do some sick work, is Drops-R-US

well I've been in Covington Louisiana training for my new job. One night last week I decided to head down to New Orleans on the Lake Pontchartrain bridge. Halfway across I started to here a loud rattling noise coming from the back. I didn't want to stop on the bridge (24 miles?) so I kept on going and the noise got louder. I finally made it off the bridge with my truck coasting. I got out and noticed that the brackets for both of my upper links had broken off and the axles was sitting back in the wheel wells. Also my driveshaft got ripped out of the transmission. That's the only damage I know about so far since it hasn't been on a lift. I have it at a wrecker yard right now and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.
I really don't want to spend anymore money on the ride tech stuff so I've been considering getting my truck over to Ekstensive to have them work on it. I called today and they don't have an opening until March 26 so thats a bummer. Until then my truck is down for the count with possible further damage needing to be fixed. Luckily I get on a ship on Thursday and will be gone for 28 days but that will be followed by 28 days off so hopefully everything can get sorted then.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a car transport company?
