Mine has a 2/4 and I know if I went to a 40 or 35 series tire I could easily fit 22's. My rims now are 20 x 9 with 285/50/20. Offset of your rims will have everything to do with it fitting correctly. I am going to a 4/6 drop soon and I will be able to fit 265/50/20's under it. Hope this helps! My rims have a 4 5/8's backspacing

So the rims I ordered are 22x91/2 with a low offset I already bought a set of stock leaf springs and tomorrow I think I'm ganna order the belltech 3/4 drop with the appropriate shocks to accommodate the drop

I tihnk i could get 22's in there. better hope they tuck up in there nice tho, i know my current setup sticks out too far for my liking. If anything, do a 2/4, with belltech street performance shocks.

What do you mean by "a low offset"? The lower the number the more the wheel sticks out past the fenders. For instance a +45 like my HD 22s will tuck up in the fenders when I let all the air out of my bags on my body style. The off-road guys with my body style like to go with lower offsets and even sometime negative offset like -12 to get the tires to stick out far past the fenders for that wide aggressive off-road stance.

What offset did you get and do you know what your offset was on your factory or current wheels?

My boss 330 wheels are a +32 with a 6.25" back space which tuck under the fenders perfectly.

If you ordered 22 x 9's you will need to install adjustable or Lightning Steering stops so they don't rub on the inside.

I just realized your truck is a '01. The offset on your gen. is much different than say myself or AZ. We have to have at least +40 to tuck. Looks like your gen is safe with +35. That means you have a lot more options as far as wheels are concerned. That is one thing that ticks me off about my truck. Can't wait to see pics of yours.
