I like it. Really like it. I can't wait until I get all my parts together to put the truck down. I really dig the truck drew. Are you running stock gears in the rear or did you have it re-geared? If so either way, how does it handle and how is it out of the hole? Right now with the stock gears and stock tire setup, my truck is a turd out of the hole, even with some mild tweeks with the edge. I have 4:30's with a complete bearing and rebuild kit for the rear that I am going to have installed after the drop. I am hoping that with these gears and the 22's that I have some get up and go.

A little late...
Mine isnt dropped yet.
But this is a 2" shackle in the rear with 285/40s

I now run 285/45s and i estimate this to be about a 4-5" total drop in the rear due to the trailer. This is the only pic i have of the 45s but can snap some tomorrow if you like.

Fills just nicely for my tastes.
And just from personal experience, the 45 series ride nicer than the 40 series. It may be negligible since they were two completely different tires. The 40s where Falkens and the 45s i have now are brigestones. Love the brigestone ride compared to the boxy falkens.

Great thread!!! i will be keeping up with it. I was thinking about a 285/40 size for 22s. My buddy has 305/40s and they are just to meaty.

Fabian, I like the pictures. Your truck looks lowered already a little bit due to the side skirts. Are those hard to install, and where can you get them? I really never looked or thought about it, but your truck looks good. Let me know. Thanks.

Well I finally got my tires. 285/40/22. I will hopefully be lowering the truck this weekend or next weekend. I will post pics when I have finished.

Thanks for the compliment. I think if I had it to do over again I would run 285 40 22 with a Bell Tech spindle for 2"'s. then use the adjustable strut for 2 more "'s which woould give me a 4 " drop up fronft with no mods to the control arms. A flip kit in the rear with helper bags, but i would try to find a little stronger bag for the slam air kit I used. Your truck will look good it should look like I think his screen name is slick f150 not sure it is a tan or chestnut brown I think it is a nice truck also. Good luck with the install they are always fun LOL
