2009 F-150 lowering nearly done
2009 F-150 lowering nearly done
Just about finished lowering the F-150. I used Belltech struts set to 3", a belltech flip kit, and Monroe load-adjusting shocks to firm up the rear and give a little rake. Got the wheels off CraigsList while I was at it to finish off the look I was going for. Harley/Raptor headlights and taillights. Magnaflow Dual exhaust too. Sounds fast, looks fast. Still just an F-150...
Just need to get the alignment redone since they didn't adjust the camber the first time. Then I need to get the tailpipes remade to clear the axle when going over bumps.

I agree. I may get around to that in the future.

Not much left that I want to do. I have Infinity speakers in the truck to help compensate for the LAME audio system, but I need to get an amp in there. I'm hoping that somebody will make a simple plug & play solution for the 04+ trucks soon. Not a fan of hacking into OE wiring.
The last things will be a Line-X bedliner, and finally some 20-30% tint.

They've thrown my speedometer off by about 3mph @60mph. It's the same Pirelli tires that all the 20" F-150 models come with. Drove home in the rain last night and they seemed to have less traction than the OE 18 Michelin tires.
