I can tell you that my mirrors to have the cutout for the lights. It's just a black cap in place right now.

thats what i had figured.

Ill work on part numbers for you this week! If you get the LEDs you might as well get the front reflectors and turn them into LED turns like the how-to floating around the 09+ sub-forum too.

Awesomeness. This will be a nice little project. Wonder what I'll need to wire the mirror itself for the lights. I know the connector going to the mirror assembley is provisioned for signals.

just a length of wire and the pins. The hardest part is going to be finding the pins for the mirror side of the plug. When looking for pins for another project last time this was the hardest part. Most dealers parts dept dont know what your talking about and the ones that do cant figure out how to look it up as its not a commonly carried item.

I have to cross reference the numbers. I can access part numbers thru my buddies body shop but i have to make sure they are consistent with Ford numbers.

Thanks! FYI - without the coilovers the rear will be about 1" lower. I saw another thread with somebody that did a 3/5 with a crew cab and the rear was sagging. That guy ended up installing air bags on the back to level it out.

Mcgaughy's makes a flip kit that may work better. It uses a bracket to relocate the front leaf spring bolt in addition to the lift shackle. It cost more, but if I had to do it over again I'd go that route. Now that it's all done though, I'm thinking about swapping out the flip kit for leafs from ground force.

The only reason that truck was lower in the rear is because he had a supercrew with 6.5ft bed with bigger fuel tank my truck was originally dropped 3.5-5" and now is 4.5-6" and my rear isn't lower as long as you have supercrew with the 5.5ft bed your ok

yeah i pretty much want it level. i dont do any towning and just hual my 300lb motorcycle. i had a djm flip kit on my 09 silverado and it was alright. you think the mcqughys is better than the beltech you have? if you swap to the leafs from ground force what kind of drop will that give you compared to factory? thanks for all the help man. ive had 3 different kinds of drops on three different truck and i just wanna make sure i go the best route on this one from the start. im willing to pay the cost for the better product.

The reason I think the Mcgaughy's kit is better is they relocate the front leaf spring bolt to give about an inch of lift. My truck is a regular cab / short bed with a 26 gallon tank and it was sagging slightly in the rear before I put the coilover shocks on. DJM also relocates the front leaf spring bolt, but Belltech opted to skip that step.

If it were me, I'd rather risk having a slight rake than a slight sag. No matter what way you go, make sure to post some pics when it's done! The more pics people post with what they've done, the more it helps the ones that are unsure of what route to go.

ok i see what youre saying. so you put the coilovers in to compensate for the sag the belltech kit caused and to give you a little firmer ride in the rear for towing.

i will definitely post pics as i go. i need to start up a mod progress thread.
