3.5 arms will put it at more of an angle and if you use anything but the spindle it will put more of an angle on them
Damn that doesnt look too pretty, those BT spindles seem nice but a lil pricey but if you wanna play you have to pay! lol

But for now the best thing to do is probably just run the CA's and flip kit set at a 5" drop? Running 24's and want a little rake.... lower in the front then the back.

If you want a 5" front drop on 24's you better have some 20 series tires, and that might be too big still

Seems i stepped on some toes sorry for that, but would like to see if i could get some feedback on lowering advice. Was thinking of going to either 22s or 24s and still want to keep a decent size tire. Anyone have any helpful input.

Probably best off starting your own thread to get more info. this thread we are mainly talking about the new body style truck where the suspension is different.

But to answer some of your questions, it depends on what you consider a decent tire. 24's are out of the question if you want to lower it and have a decent tire size though. if you are wanting a small 3/5 drop you could probably get away with a 285/40/22 but that is me just guessing. or a 4/6 drop which I would recommend with some 285/35/22, again just a guess. I had a 4/6 on my 00 with 20's and I want to say they were 285/45/20's and filled up the wheel well nicely

Im starting to tear in the the exs truck here to bring it down from a 4" drop to much lower not sure yet exactly but it will be on 24s still and but I plan on doing a little bit of work to the front fenders to clear the wheels and it will probably be tucking the tires. Right now there is no suspension left in the front. Just waiting a bit to order the parts trying to decide what I need as well

I see in your sig that your GFs truck has a belltech 3/6 drop on it. How did you get that extra inch? I have the belltech 3/5 and I want that extra inch or maybe even 2" so I have to run air in my helper bags to sit level.

Use your stock shackles with the flip kit to get 6" or use a 1" drop shackle for a 7" drop 2" shackle for a 8" drop

Or a 6" flip with 2" shackle and a modded stock leaf block to give you 9.5! lol

Just a thought

Or use a belltech 3" shackle for 9"

I keep calling bs on it but supposedly belltech makes a 3" shackle for our trucks, I know I had to bend the pinch welds over on my bed to fit the 2" though...

Thanks fellas. I'm gonna tackle this after the holidays. I hope my helper bag mounts don't limit me.
