pretty good job so far. Its shaping up. Is it just the pics or is there a big bulge where the handle used to be right under the style line on the tailgate?

The smoothies look badass on certain trucks. Not sure if your truck would look right with smoothies, and the floaters are kinda lame IMO. Look for a clean designed nice lipped wheel. Trust me once its getting bagged youll be more concerned with offsets than what the actual wheel looks like lol.
any links to that ranger?

must be just the pics. the only "bulge" is on the left side where the gate lines up to where the taillight used to be. it doesnt line up perfectly due to the gate being warped from me backing into a kid long time ago.

im thinkin pancaked it'll look sick with some smoothies tucked under. i hate wheels without a lip. guy on another forum i'm on has a 6" lip wheel. its sick. i'll try to see if i can find a link to the ranger. new computer so no more bookmarks or anything

+1 on the wheel choice...by putting on those smoothies and especially those dubs (sorry...just can't stand the "gangsta" look) you will change wheels as soon as yours become outdated. If you get a classic 5 spoke clean wheel, it will never go out of style.

the dubs i can understand. i really like the concept and look of a couple of em, but they get so gaudy & ignorant lookin in a hurry. smoothies i dont think will ever be outdated. been around for decades. Size just got bigger, and no moonpies or w/e.

do not want a classic wheel. i hate seeing common/similar wheels just like trucks. gotta do something different.

Thats what i was thinking, you need to be bagged before you can safely pull off smoothies

thats a fact. thats why i said i wont be gettin the rims anytime soon haha. this is just showing the 2 i want, and which i'll get.

its also catching up to me about size. the 20s to me just arent big enough for this big of a truck, so i know i'm not gettin those again. 22s look good with the right size rubber, 24s are nice. but if a s10 can lay on 24s and an avalanche can lay on 30s....??

so i 24s it is. if i can find a good lookin combo with the right offset at the time a 24/26 combo. but i think 24" smoothies tucked under the metal will look sick.

don't do a combo. but if you are having someone doing the fab to fit 24's, then you might as well ask about working with 26's.
