97-03 20" and up

I got a 2001 f150 2wd and looking to put 26's on it and just wondering what size rims and tires and what offset you have so i can get an idea of whats the biggest diameter i can fit on my truck.

Also if you have a drop let me know how much drop and if anyone has any rubbing list where at.

Thanks

for tires that might fit looking at found
305/30/26=33.2" but only a 3.6" sidewall
305/35/26=34.4" and a 4.2" sidewall but only tire this size is toyo $680 a piece
295/30/26=32.9" only 3.5" sidewall was looking at 295 series to prevent rubbing inside
295/35/26=34.1" 4" sidewall want at least a 4" sidewall does this size even exist i havent found it anyhwere online.

What would be the best to go with on my f150 2wd stock height, also with 26's how much decrease in gas mileage will i see 2-3mpg

Also to me on these trucks 24's look like 22's and 26's look like 24's and just fit perfect at least like in pics its like that

I'm running 23s with 305/35/23 tiers on a 4X4 lowered 3 in the front and 4 in the back and they just barely make it without hitting. I think there a total of 32"s tall.
When I turn the front is 1/4"from the bumper!
I don't see how you would ever get 26s on there without some cutting.
You might get 24s with 000/30/24 tier.
But my truck rides ruff as hell when you hit a small bump.Handles nice on the highway though.

^^^ my son a couple years ago...lol

ok so when you lowered it basically it sat exact same height as 2wd stock or lower, its only a 2" difference in the front on 2wd and 4wd correct. so you are sitting one inch below on the front and the back you are same height as 2wd stock or 1" lower than
2wd stock as well??

but the rims always look smaller i would of said tops 22's more like 20's on your truck they look like, found online 4x4 and 4x2 only sit 1" difference in stock so bascially you are 2" lower than my front sits now, and 3" lower in the back than mine now so i think i could def do 24's easily and will just have to get the right tire and offset for 26's and prob cut a lil and not be able to turn the wheel more than 3/4 of full turn or i will rub

3" drop in the front

your tires and rim=28.66 so i could run a 31.6 overall with no problem

so i might be able to do a 295/30/26=32.9 only another 1.3" more than what you are running basically with the drop since without the drop you could run a 31.6 with no rubbing

I dont think a 26" will rub due to the height just the width i think might be the problem its another .8" wider for the 295 the 305 is 1.2" wider than the 275 you are running

You wont fit a 33" tire without a level and for a 35" you're going to need a small lift...

prob just gonna go with 24's so it doesnt look bulky and too gangster haha

thinking of going wit a 285/40/24= 32.97" tire sidewall of 4.5 which should fit with no rubbing or minimal rubbing

if not go with the 285/35/24=31.85" sidewall of 3.9" so that should be enough sidewall to have decent ride and should deff fit with no rubbing

My current tire is 30" total so i dont see hoe i cant fit a 33" tire or at least for sure a 32" tire

or a 295/35/24=32.12" sidewall of 4.06" so that might be a decent tire as well

26's would look ridiculous...
I have 22's and I think 24's are even overdoing it a little. There are a few that can pull off 24's pretty well though.

305/40/22, 22x9.5", +35mm Offset, 6.590in. Backspacing. And I'm dropped 2/4.5 with front springs, flipkit, and rear airbag assist.
I rub just BARELY when the wheels are cranked all the way to the left. It rubs on the inside front edge of the left tire, but just against the wheelwell cover.
