ground force is better with Ford, Belltech is better with Chevy. Ford uses GF on their factory drops.

good to hear... i mean they highly recommended it obviously.
i just can't find a 3/4 by them.. only 2/4... waiting with confirmation form them on the ride height.

but i couldn't believe from a dealer how cheap it was...

I have the DJM 3.5/5 on my '08, it was a toss up between that and the Ground Force kit. I love the DJM kit because I have the same ride quality, not stiffer, but with way better looks.
Not sure what DJM would have for your year of truck, check them out on the web and compare.

This is where you get creative. and also drain your bank acct. at the same time. the DJM offers a 2/4 drop. go with it. pick yourself up a set of 1" drop coils. you'll retain the factory ride (you won't notice the stiffness in the 1" coil) and it'll handle excellent.

Agree, but draining your bank account only if you are overly creative. 1" drop coils are relatively inexpensive and are available from a few different manufacturers, Belltech, Eibach to name a couple. Check with Lowriders.ca out in BC, they may be able to help.

Lightning rear leafs

I have a set of 03 Lightning rear leafs to sell, 17kmi. . They have more leafs in the pack, which are thinner than the reg F150. The leafs also have less of an arch in them. They suposably lower the rear 1-2 inches. I put another set of the same into my 97 F150 4x4 along with a set of 2 inch lowering shackles, and I removed the rear blocks. My truck sits great, and the springs make for a much better handling vehicle while retaining a nice ride quality. I had found the stock rear leafs bouncy, judging both sets of springs before installing the shocks. On another persons truck with aftermarket leafs I found his truck a little harsh. I swore by KYB hi pressure Gas-A-Just shocks, until Gabriel finally started making MaxControl shocks. They are also a Hi-pressure monotube shock like all stiff performance shocks. But they dont have the crazy price. In the past I hated all Gabriel and Monroe shock because they royally sucked.

If your interested in the leafs send me a email
ksilibovsky@hotmail.com
I'd also recomend getting the Lightning front coils, aftermarkets tend to be a bit harsh.
