I get ragged on by a bunch of people for having a lowered truck, you just have to think of a few good comebacks.

The things I get most are:
1. "How are you going to go off-roading now!?"
2. "Man you'll never be able to tow worth a damn."
3. "You just destroyed the purpose of a truck."

I just laugh and fire off my line, the majority of the time they shut up about it.

Trust me, the comebacks will flow with ease. Anyone who knows me can attest to it.

I haven't driven since I unloaded. I couldn't really tell if it was bottoming out, wasn't too bad actually.

the stock bumpstops are soft, I have about 3/4" between the axle and bumpstops and I know it bottoms out all the time

My truck is dropped and it doesn't bottom out at all. I can scrape the front air dam on steep inclines, so I'm usually careful when I encounter them. I still use it as a truck and I take my dirt bike out to the ranch with no problems. Most of my high-riding truck buddies think my truck is kind of cool.
