I'm not sure if any one out there has a 4" flip due to the nature of what a flip does to your rear suspension. Starting out, a flip by itself drops you 6", the Belltech flip (advertised at 5") gives you a 1" lift shackle to get you to 5" but in reality you end up around 5 1/2"(leaf spring sag?). I keep about 20 psi in my bags which levels me out with the front (3" drop) and gives me a true 5". This will put your frame about 2" from the rear axle and I rarely hit the bump stops (1/2" poly). The Belltech 5" flip is a really good foundation for lowering, all you have to do is find what you need to do to the front to match, and of course add the air bags if you want to use the truck for it's intended purposes.

Let me explain this a little bit more. When I first put my Belltech drop on, it was just the drop spindles(2") and the flip(5"). No drop shocks or airbags at first. Well it had the Cali lean going on big time due to the flip being lower than I expected and the front not being low enough. It rode OK but it didn't take much to hit the stops. So I put the drop shocks on the front with the 1" spacer and everything was perfect. Then I put the airbags on and everything came together and now rides better than it did when it was stock.

DJM has a 4" flip. Their flip is 6", add a 1" lift shackle to the flip and it makes it a 5" flip, and a lifting hanger to the flip and it makes it a 4" flip. I only have a 2" drop up front so a 4" flip will be perfect.

Yes. I still have them. The ride is horrible with the Eibach leafs. The ride up front with the stock struts and GF springs is fine. Right now the ride is very mismatched, forgiving up front and extremely stiff out back. I thought for sure they'd loosen up by now with my truck being a 50 mile a day daily driver.

Well, with all the suspension parts I am getting I should have a wide selection to choose from. Though it's really not a laughing matter.

It's not. It feels like when on the road, with the 22's/40's it's more solid of course compared to the 17's/70's, front, back, front back, more give up front, much less give out back. If i go over a highway road hump at say 65mph the rear will react faster than the front after going over it. The rear finishes going over the hump after the front but finishes reacting before the front does. Am I making any sense?

What shocks are you using in the rear?

Well, look at it like this. The stiffer the suspension, the less roll you'll have, the better performance in curves. After all, the Eibach kit is a high performance kit.

I'm well aware of that, I love the handling. Maybe I should get a better set of front struts so it will ride better up front to match the rear? The DJM flip I may be getting is cheaper than that, and I'd be happier, I think.
