It was no hassle really, the airbags were worth every penny.
Oh, and here's a pic of the control panel I made for the airbags. The guages are in PSI and the one on the left is bag pressure and the one on the right is tank pressure.
I'll have a video on youtube of the operation of the valve soon. It's a clippard valve, push up for more air to the bags and down to vent air out of the bags. It sounds really cool in the cab

It's an air assist kit... in the rear only. For more towing capacity etc.
Read the description before you post here, it's purpose isn't to fill up and drain extremely fast....

I just put the McGaughy's helper bag kit on my truck. The instructions sucked. I ended up moving the brackets closer to the axle, worked great. Was a pain to drill all those 1/2" holes though. No snazzy air valves and tanks here, this is just for loads, I have a little 12V portable pump that fills the bags up easily. Still haven't driven it yet. I have a 2"x4" drop, so the thing bolted right up. Filled the bags up to 30PSI, gave the truck about 5" of wheel well space in the back.
Hey Arca_ex, how does your bag kit do with any sort of load in the bed? You've surely driven with a load by now.

It does really well, the bags can support a LOT of weight when you start getting upwards of 80PSI.
I've hauled some concrete and drywall and plywood/lumber here and there, nothing too serious yet but the bags made a world of difference. I think the most weight I've had back there is maybe 800lbs. which isn't even nearing the bags limits. I think it's either 1 or 2 tons of capacity that the bags add, but don't quote me on that.

Well, I took the bags off, since I don't have the McGaughy's drop the brackets hit each other when I aired down. I am currently seeking a rear flip kit and will be getting bag spacers similar to the setup gilbertma has, only I want a 4" flip so the bag spacer will be an inch smaller.
gilbertma's setup.
