Hello.... new guy here, this is what i am starting with... should have maybe $4k for new stuff.. lowering kit, wheels/tires, then hopefully grill, exhaust, cap, tint.... not sure what all i can get done for 4K.
There are some awesome trucks on here...been going thru the 200+ pages on this thread... all fired up!

crap... may not happen. guy is waffling around on story of truck so not sure about getting it now. its XLT, 88k, 5.4, cloth 6.5 bed. wants $9,500. bought it 3 weeks ago from a friend to help him out, but now wants to sell it... kinda weird or am i just to paranoid... hehe

 

Just do the research there are plenty of ways out there about finding out what the condition the truck is in but spend the 20 bucks or whatever to do the car fax or whoever you want to use that handles car reporting but it will be better than making a 9,500 dollar mistake he should give you the vin number if he won't then I would think something is up. Don't rely on him to tell you whats wrong with the truck. Take if for a good test drive as well, and test everything on the truck. If he will permit take it to a mechanic that you trust and have him do a quick inspection on the truck.
