well really it depends on what kind of music u listen too first
i listen to rap so i went out and got 4 10 inch jl w6 with two 1200 watt rockford amps and trust me it bang hard. some times u cant even drive with it lol

if i were u i would go with jl the are little bit more expen but in the long run they are more relible and they are more crisp bass then kicker.. as for the amps the new kickers suck in my opinion and the jls are nice but not have alot of p0wer stability, but the rockfords are badd ***!!

i mean dont get me wrong kicker is nice but i been installing stereos for over 4 years i heard just about every speaker u can think of and seen alot of amp's

but like i said if u listen to like say.......... heavy metal or country or something like that u dont want the system to be to big it will not sound right at all.

Hey ozzquake,

How would the new 2003 Kicker Comp Vr's (2 12"s) Sound if they were powered by a Rockford Fosgate 500s Amp?

I'm puttin them in the back seat and I've built a custom box for them, just waitin on buyin the speakers. I got the new Panasonic CQ DF 802U head unit so that should sound alot nicer then the stock deck..
