Can I move speaker box in my 2012 Screw?

Hi Guys...just took delivery of my 2012 KR and it's a beauty. Was ready to put WeatherTech floor liners in the rear cab area and when I folded up the rear seats saw a speaker box bolted to the floor on the right side. Can it be relocated or am I SOL? A big reason why I bought the King Ranch was the Super Crew with all the floor area in the back when the seats were folded up--we have 3 dogs that travel with us on long trips and they need all the floor space they can get. Don't ever remember seeing speaker boxes on the floor of Super Crews I saw on dealer lots. I can't think of where it can be relocated so I probably have to live with this but if you have a any good ideas, I would love to hear them. Thanks a lot, Bill S.

I'm not sure where you could move it to but before you go on long trips, you could unplug and remove it until you get back.

Just means it has the upgraded sound system, you can remove it if you don't mind not having the sub.

Thanks guys...unplugging the sub woofer seems like an easy solution. I will test the sound quality this weekend when it is unplugged. Bill

FYI, Ford's response to this issue confirms what Erik and 06yz250f said above: "I finally received an update from our Technical Subject Matter Expert about the subwoofer of your 2012 Ford F-150. When you remove the subwoofer, you will lose some of the lower frequency tones that it provides, however, the system's overall sound quality will not be affected."
