Will i get good sound out of this box?
I am thinking about getting some subs for my truck and i saw this box on ebay. Will i get good sound out of it? I am not sure which subs i would get, if you could help me out there as well that would be greatly appreciated. I would be using an aftermarket head unit.

You'll need to research your choice of subwoofer as to what kind of box it is optimized for. I would suggest a shallow mount sub since they are generally optimized for small, sealed enclosures. There are several choices out there so try to match their power handling Wattage up to your choice for the bass amplifier.

What he said^. You need to base the box off of the subs specs that you choose. According to that boxes description it has .66cf per chamber so if your dead set on that you need a sub that wants about .6cf sealed because of the displacement of the sub, and also like he said it's most likely gonna have to be a shallow mount.

I just installed a pair of these REs in a box I built very similar to that one with ~ .55cf in each chamber and they hit hard

The best thing you can do when it comes to systems is building everything around your subs. Choose the ones you want then buy the amp designed to push them to their top ohm capability. Next is finding a box. I had to make a box custom because the heritage edition doesnt have much under the back seat and b.c. theres brackets in the way too plus the material was.inexpensive. so choose your goods first then worry about the box. Good luck post pics
