I have a new lariat with the Sony system. I think it sounds pretty good relative to the system that came stock with the 2005 Lariat.

From what I'm reading here, the door speakers are upgradeable? How much does one have to spend to get a better door speaker?

Depends on what you want really.. if you plan on just running stock power, then I would just run some replacement coaxials. ~$70

I was planning to use the stock power, but I could afford to amp them. You mean to tell me that the speakers that came with the Sony system can be upgraded for as little as $70.00?
