Single ID10v3 10" sub in my bros. truck. He has a seat lift but this same setup could be done with a shallow 10 or 8.

Also for a single 10 it has a lot of output and sounds great!
Box is 1.4 ft^3 tuned to 32hz.

If you do not want to do a seat lift or blow out the windows, a ported 8" sub will fill out the bottom end nicely.

I believe they now put a 10w3v3 (500w) in there. I have one (but I think my sub is actually a 10w3v1 rated at 300w) and give it a big

JL Stealthbox vs. Audiophile OEM sub:

The dog is sniffing the built in OEM amp.

.5 cu/ft lightly stuffed with polyfill & tuned to 35-38hz. The port was an afterthought, so it is tuned a little high but it modeled well in Win ISD.
