If you want to port 10s I still have the Kodas (XBL and 20mm xmax) that I will sell cheapish.

Or just use those TangBands. Sweet performance for the money.

I actually have the Koda's twin... the Blueprint 1008.

Look familiar?

Hmmm... How much for your Kodas?

They're very efficient and are rated for about 300 watts I believe... very soft suspension.

I'll be feeding them a bit more than rated, but will be careful.

Very nice! Same exact thing as the Kodas. Nice little drivers eh? Sure pains me to sell them but they are taking up space. I was thinking along the lines of $100 each + shipping.

Nice price! I paid about the same for these from Toxic Tuan about a year ago.

Those subs went for more than twice that when new IIRC.

I might be interested Msall. I wonder how they'd sound in my ported box i had built for my d6's. It's tuned to 32hz. I've got a sundownz sae1200 to throw at them. I bet it'd sound damn good

The D6 and Koda have similar excursion (xmax = ~18mm) but the Koda has far superior motor technology and is built with better parts. They will have similar output but the Koda should sound cleaner, especially at high volume where the XBL motor really helps to keep the driver linear while the overhung Diamonds will produce greater distortion at high excursion. The Kodas need less power as well.

I'm sending one of the Kodas off to be Klippel tested, but it should be back in a couple weeks and I'll hit you up if you are still interested.

Sorry to derail this thread. Melovidov, any decision yet?

Nice... I'm interested in seeing the results.

No problem, I'm gonna build a ported box for the Blueprints.

~2.3 ft^3 tuned to 32hz
