box volume

Ok right now i have a supercewsounds box and with the lift kit with two RE Audio SE 10's in it and i wanna try something different with the sub stage. Im thinking about two DD audio 1508's ported subs out the front of the box right behind my driver seat and port on the passenger side of the truck. Im curious with the lift kit if anyones knows how big of a box fits under the seat. Keep in mind that the box can go all the way to the floor since the subs will be on the front face of the box. DD says that for two eights they want a NET box volume of 1.5-2.0 CUFT with sq" of port from 24 to 32 and a length of 22 to 21" long. Im looking for a tuning in about the 35HZ range.

I would port in the center with the subs on the outsides.

Their site shows that with the subs mounted down firing you have .95 cubes per, or 1.8 total.

An additional 2" of depth over the entire bottom of the box should add somewhere near .5 cubes, based on some rough math (since I dont know the actual area of the bottom of the box that would be extended.) Sounds like it would work, but you need to measure your dimensions and figure out your airspace.

you can get it away with it, based on on what el chupo said lol, but i mite add two cents? u can spray glue on the walls off the inside of the box and then put polyfill to gain some "air"...dont know if you understand what i mean, but ive seen kicker prefab boxes with ports do this and seems logical if polyfill makes the subs think the box is bigger because of air travel speed against the walls of mdf
