New Set of subs needed!

So in August my car got broken into and someone stole my box, subwoofers, ipod, and just about everything except for my AMP and Headunit!

I'm looking to put a new set of subs into my truck and am looking for something that hits hard, fits under the back seat of 2002 f-150 supercab and is relatively inexpensive say about $200 max for 2 subs. I liked my Image Dynamics but if there is something better let me know. I haven't really searched the forums for awihle..... I'm probably going to buy a supercrewsound box because my old box had some problems with it.

What subs should i put that are able to sound good with this amp Hifonics BXi 606.

Thanks,

Colin

The ID's you had are going to be hard to beat, but them plus the box are going to blow your budget by about 100%.

Well i mean I can spend more on the subs if needed. So probably go with the ID's again? I was just throwing out a price for the subs!!

Any other good hitting subs for ID price?

Kinda hard to beat them for the price. As for the box, I know you said SuperCrewSound, but you might check out the A-trend dual 10" box. They get talked down a bit because they are cheap but I've been very satisfied with my single 10 box, both in fit and performance.

Look at the amp power rating. Does it want a final load of 1/2/4 ohms. Then head over to 12volt.com and read the subwoofer wiring guide.

Learn this and you will feel smarter.

So my question is....with a supercrew sound box for the new ID subs im going to put in. Do i need to get the additional 5/8's for them to fit? And if that is correct, am i going to need to lift the seat or anything? The last set up with my old ID's i built my own box and it didn't sound to well so im just spending the money to get the prebuilt box.

Thanks
