Great ucking Choice but I'm using an Alpine amp b/c they are great and it cost less than the JL. You can go with this amp and save money just order the same sub but at 2 ohms

It will fit. I'm running the same setup and had this talk with crutchfield about a year ago. I decided to give it a try since my sub died on me (Infinity) which was under warranty and crutchfield allowed me to pay the difference for this sub and not only does it work but it sounds great

Would it actually benefit me to dynamat the rear wall of the truck? I have some rattle back there and was wondering if this would cure this and maybe give me better bass response inside the truck. Any thoughts anyone? I mean if I am not going to notice a noticeable difference in the above two things I would rather not spend $200 bucks getting it done.
